Held at the prestigious Hardwick Hall, this year’s North East Business Awards honoured the region’s best businesses and the remarkable people behind them. After winning the Teesside heat for both the Innovation award and the Small Business of the Year award earlier this, we were excited to head to Hardwick for the grand final.
The event promised to be one to remember with over 100 organisations across the North East putting themselves forward for the big win. As in previous years at the North East Business Awards, we’re always incredibly proud to be among the 30 finalists. The judging panel managed to trim down entries for the regional winners from three key areas including Tyneside and Northumberland; County Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside; and Teesside – which we imagine to be quite the challenge!
Recognising excellence in growth, innovation and workplace wellbeing, we were delighted to be named the 2024 Small Business of the Year. This award is true testament to the incredible work our team do on a daily basis to not only delivering best-in-class websites but consistently pushing the boundaries and helping our clients become the innovators in their sector. From building industry transforming tech for leading newsrooms such as The Times to helping break down boundaries with open sourced WordPress themes for Amnesty International, our team consistently and meticulously create websites and plugins that are specific to our client’s unique publishing goals.
We loved being part of such a great evening that helps shine a light on the North East region and would like to share a huge congratulations to all finalists!
