In the unsettling times we’re in, we’re extremely fortunate at Big Bite to be able to work remotely, which we have always encouraged our employees to do if needed. The past few weeks have been a testing time for everyone adjusting to change, but our team has pulled together to continue to deliver client projects.
We know that we are extremely fortunate – news of companies closing down, staff being furloughed and job hunters unable to find work fills our news feeds on a daily basis, and that’s why, as a team, we have decided to move our planned Q4 2020 recruitment efforts forward. This is so that we are able to offer those currently out of work or seeking a new role to have the opportunity to get back into work as quickly and easily as possible.
We’re looking to further expand our engineering team initially, so if you’re a developer in Teesside or the North East and you’re looking for a new role, please get in touch. We want to hear from developers of all skill levels, so as long as you have a solid understanding of modern programming languages (particularly PHP and Javascript) we can give you the training you need to get started. Previous experience of WordPress, Git and GitHub, and package managers is also a bonus, but not essential.
We want to hear from people who are eager to learn and push themselves to succeed, so whether you have been in the industry for one year or 10 years, we’d love to hear from you. We’re open to helping as many people as we possibly can and we can interview and onboard any new employees remotely, giving you the opportunity to work from home until some type of normality returns.
