Back for the 21st year, the North East Business Awards celebrate the best businesses in the region, as well as the people behind them, so we’re absolutely over the moon to have won the Best Place to Work Award and Global Britain Award for Teesside.
Created to showcase businesses that develop talent through training, apprenticeships, diversity, inclusion, and career progression, the Best Place to Work Award means a lot to us, as Big Bite is fully committed to being one of the best employers in the UK. It also comes hot on the heels of our double billing in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023 listings – another hugely important accolade that highlights how supportive workplaces can make a real difference to our everyday lives.
As a passionate champion of the talent in our sub-region, it’s also an absolute honour to scoop the Global Britain Award. With a growing clientele list on both sides of the Atlantic – which includes the V&A, Gumtree, New York Post, Amnesty International, and The Times – we’re proud to represent Teesside on a worldwide level, which is all thanks to our brilliant team.
After winning the Teesside Small Business Award in 2019, and being shortlisted for the Innovation & Technology Award and Services Award in 2022, this isn’t the first time that we’ve flown the flag at the North East Business Awards. This year however, we’re hoping that we can take the top titles at the grand final event, which takes place on Tuesday 26th September 2023.
